2021's AutumnFest was one of the largest events we've ever seen in downtown Hillsboro and we look forward to building on last year's success. This year's event will be on October 29, 2022 and will feature the most impressive lineup of performers we've ever had including Bruce Robison, Kelly Willis, Tejas Brothers, Larissa Boyd, Brave Combo, Texas Gypsies, Danny Dash (Michael Jackson impersonator), Hillsboro Unified Tae Kwon Do, and the Hillsboro Golden Eagle Band. We're also excited to announce that there will be activity at the stage all day long without a break as magician, David Gish, will be performing between acts this year.
Returning in 2022 is the Outlaw BBQ Association Cookoff along with more than 100 vendors, a full schedule of performers from 10am to 10pm, Fall focused activities and themes, an old-fashioned midway full of classic games, Inflatable Alley (inflatable rides and challenge courses), and so much more. We are so excited to be growing and improving with our community! So join us on October 29th for the Hillsboro AutumnFest throughout downtown Hillsboro.
The Outlaw BBQ Association's sanctioned State Championship BBQ cook-off will feature prizes include 100% payback of the entry fees plus $1,000.
Come ready to have a great time with the whole family. Rides and games are appropriate for all ages. Unlimited Ride armbands for Inflatable Alley rides may be purchased at the gate for $10 per person and will be good from 10am to 6pm on Saturday. One change this year is that the Midway games are included with the Inflatable Alley unlimited wrist bands, so the whole family can enjoy lots of fun.
There will also be over 100 vendor spaces featuring every type of fair food imaginable along with outstanding art and craft vendors. The Hillsboro Farmers Market will be open from 8am until 1pm.
The fair will be around the Hill County Courthouse Square. Be sure to check out downtown restaurants and shops as many will be offering specials during fair weekend.
Make sure to be there in the evening at 6pm as downtown businesses will be offering trick-or-treating for free to all of the kids and Texas Through Time will feature the return of their Night at the Boo-seum event.
