Our journey began with early donations at ChurroFest and Bond's Alley, and now we’re reaching out to YOU to help us bring this vision to life. Together, we can illuminate our community and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Let's cross the finish line together!
Our Lighting Transformation
Main Street Hillsboro has long been adorned with charming string lights, but after years of use, they’ve begun to show their age. With burnt-out bulbs and aging lines, the once vibrant display now leaves much to be desired. It’s time to refresh our lighting, and restore the beauty and warmth that our community deserves. Let’s bring the sparkle back to Main Street!

A Phased Approach
The downtown lighting project will be implemented in three distinct phases. Phase 1 will begin at the courthouse square, setting the stage for an enhanced atmosphere. Phase 2 will extend down E. Elm St. and S. Waco, reaching towards the library. Finally, Phase 3 will illuminate E. Franklin, leading to the Historic City Hall, creating a vibrant and welcoming environment in our downtown area.
